Hoyt Olympic Formula Handle XD 2023

About the product

The Hoyt Olympic Formula Handle XD 2023 has an optimized riser geometry and dynamic flex control. The Formula XD is designed with a grip-to-limb pivot geometry that optimizes tuning when paired with modern, high-performance recurve limb, eliminating unwanted vertical nock travel. The riser has a 360 degree damper integrated in the pocket. The damper system is an all-axes vibration killer providing the archer a significant improvement in shot-feel.

The riser also has string tension technology, it allows the archery to adjust the string tension to customize limb feel. The small adjustments at the limb rocker point make the limbs feel shorter or longer, without any other alterations of the bow, limbs or the tune of the bow.

Perfect balance weight system included with the handles. It features two 1 oz weights that can be moved between the top and bottom limb pockets. It allows the archer to customize the vertical balance of the Formula XD.

Redesigned Pro Series dovetail block system that features a new precision alloy insert. It helps eliminate potential galling under certain conditions. It eliminates unwanted noises and vibrations that are being generated from the limb pocket during the draw cycle.

VertaTune Clicker Plate. The formula XD comes standard with three options of VertaTune rest plates. High, middle and low. It allows the archery to customize the arrow rest position for optimized tuning and performance that matches the archer’s shooting style. Shibuya Ultima Rest VertaTune Clicker Plates also available, sold separately.

The Formula XD has a new optimized grip position, shifted from previous generation Hoyt Formula recurvers. It achieves better tuning by decreasing unwanted vertical nock travel. The centralized grip position promotes more consistent engagement from the archer and helps achieve a linear shot response.

Formula XD is available in various Cerakote colors.

The ZEST was created through various tests.
In order to improve problems regarding limbs, (including lowering pounds through various temperature and humidity changes) we’ve checked and had various tests such as dry fire testing, harsh environment testing of 100℃, etc. As a result, we’ve secured a highly consistent technique of pounds under any circumstance.

The ZEST, which is applied with a new production technology, it has a high consistency of pounds and has higher durability than MK’S existing limbs, so it gives users a great feeling of satisfaction as well as it provides users with a constant shooting feeling without changes in pounds.

The ARCUM is not a conventional riser and was not designed to be. The ARCUM riser represents a new shift in Barebow riser design. The riser has been designed to be out the box barebow ready, weighing in at 1550g no weight addition is required for an intermediate barebow archer as the center of mass of the riser is 8mm forward than that of the AIX and 17mm lower, making it a bottom heavy riser designed to be shot as a barebow first and an Olympic recurve second. The riser incorporates a unique flat face design which facilitates placement of weights on either the left, right or center of the riser all utilizing 13 x 5/16unf threaded holes.

The ARCUM's hole weight reduction system was purely inspired by nature. The aim was to create a lightweight yet strong structure, and what better place to look at examples than nature? The ARCUM was inspired by the hollow structure of bird bones and the vascular structures in bamboo. This unique weight reduction method allows users to have 8 weight mounting points on the bottom window of the riser, without any compromise in strength.
The upper site window comes with three clicker mounting points as well as four 5/16unf plunger holes that gives the barebow archer even more options when it comes to arrow tuning and clearance.
